Roman temple built for Rosmerta and Merkur.
A worthwhile side trip on the rheinburgenweg hiking stage between Rhens and Koblenz.
This sanctuary was dedicated to the roman god "Merkur" and his gallic accompany "Rosmerta". The temple was situated near the roman street between Koblenz and Trier. Recovered coins indicate that the temple was used until the 5th century.
