Die Bopparder Karmeliterkirche
Klosterkirche des ehemaligen Karmeliterordens, der 1262 nach Boppard kam.
Erbaut im 14. Jahrhundert. Die Kirche ist mit kunsthistorisch sehr bedeutsamen Kirchenschätzen ausgestattet. Spätgotische Westempore mit Kielbögen und Schmuckelementen. Geschnitztes Chorgestühl, Steinkanzel und Priesterdreisitz aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Zwei prunkvolle Barockaltäre und zahlreiche Grabdenkmäler.

Die St. Severuskirche in Boppard
Dort, wo zu römischer Zeit eine Badeanlage für Soldaten des Bopparder Kastells war, dominiert die heutige Pfarrkirche aus dem 12./13. Jahrhundert mit ihren beiden Chorflankentürmen das Bopparder Stadtbild. Sie ist ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel spätromanischer Kirchenbaukunst im Rheinland.

Monument "Königstuhl" in Rhens
The "Königstuhl" monument in Rhens was built in the 14th century. In the year 1273 the rhenish archbishops met here to elect king "Rudolph von Habsburg". Later some elections of German Kings were hold here from the 14th to the 16th century. Then Frankfurt was the most important place for the elections and the Königstuhl ruined more and more. From 1841 - 1843 the Königstuhl was rebuilt by architect "Johann Claudius von Lassaulx". Today the monument is a great lookout point and a reminder of the Middle Ages, when the German Kings were elected by the seven "Kurfürsten".
Monument of Kaiser Wilhelm I at the German Corner in Koblenz
The "Kaiser Wilhelm" monument is situated at the German Corner in Koblenz at the confluence of the rivers rhine and mosel. The 37 meter high monument was built up in 1897.
After the destruction in World War II the pedestal served as a memorial for the German Unity from 1953 to 1990. Based on plans of "Bruno Schmitz", the famous architect of many other monuments, the reconstruction of the Kaiser Wilhelm monument took place in 1993. The sculptor was "Emil Hundrieser".
Today the German Corner with its monument is a top tourist attraction and a perfect place for great events like the "Mittelrhein-Marathon" or the famous "rhine-in-flames" festival. During the FIFA Worldcup in 2006 it was a public viewing place, where football fans from all over the world came to party and watch the matches.
