The "St. Kastor-Basilica" is the oldest church of Koblenz.
First building was from 817 to 836 by archbishop "Hetti von Trier".
The current building originates from the 11th/12th century.
Vaulting from 1496 to 1499.
1944 destruction, 1948 - 1955 reconstruction.
