The "Liebfrauenkirche" church is the baptistery and mother church of Koblenz since the 5th century. The current building was started in 1180 and completed in the mid 13th century.
1404 - 1431 building of the gothic choir. Destruction in 1944 and rebuilding in 1950.
Renovation from 1971 to 1974. Restoration inside in 2000.
Well worth seeing are the beautiful window panes.
